Position Vacancy – Operations Manager at Cape Jourimain Nature Centre
We seek to fill the position of Operations Manager for this major non-profit, environmental centre at the New Brunswick end of the Confederation Bridge. The manager will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Centre which includes supervision and scheduling for a staff of 20-25; overseeing finances; coordinating volunteers and partners and establishing effective relationships and team building. The ideal candidate would be bilingual (French & English); have management experience with a not-for-profit group; organizational and problem solving skills; some knowledge of retail and food services; and an interest in heritage and environmental education, ecotourism and green technology.
This is a seasonal operation, for the most part April-October. Salary to be determined by qualifications.

The Cape Tormentine Community Development Corporation is inviting the public to a celebration of 100th Anniversary of the last Iceboat Crossing between PEI and NB.
Tour the Exhibition Hall at Cape Jourimain and enjoy some complimentary refreshments on April 28 from 3 pm – 7 pm.
This is a free event but donations to the Cape Jourimain Nature Centre would be greatly appreciated.

JOIN US FOR THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
An invitation is extended to all our members to join us at the Cape Jourimain Nature Centre for our Annual General Meeting on May 28 at 1 PM.
SPRING CLEAN UP
We will meet on May 28 at 10 am for our Annual Clean Up day, where we scour the side of the road and the beach, collecting debris and separating garbage from recyclables. Then join us for refreshments and a catch up.

Do you have time, energy or ideas? The staff and Board of Cape Jourimain are looking for volunteers to help with specific jobs – would you like to bartend on Fish Fridays, or act as a greeter and information officer in our front building?
