Get ready, because in 2019 we’re celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Cape Jourimain Lighthouse! You won’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime event!
Festivities will take place on Saturday, July 13th and Sunday, July 14th from 10:00AM – 4:00PM. The event will launch with a special performance by local musician Kenny James on the evening of Friday, July 12th (starting time TBD).
Check back later this spring for a detailed list of activities.
On Saturday and Sunday throughout the months of July and August, the lighthouse will be open to public. Opening hours may vary; check our events calendar later in the spring for more details.
(Please note, access to the upper levels will be restricted. Special guided tours to the lantern may be offered during specific time frames at the discretion of the Education Manager).
We’ll be offering a shuttle service from the interpretive centre to the lighthouse every Saturday, throughout July and August, for a limited number of hours. Check back later in the spring for a detailed schedule and pricing.
See Kenny James performing “Lighthouse Keeper”, a special song celebrating the amazing legacy of the Cape Jourimain lighthouse.
